This series of CPF pressure pond filters belongs to the latest generation of pond filters and combines the mechanical as well as biological purification by use of most modern UV technology.

This Bio-Pond Filter CPF 75000 provides for a stable and biological balance in large ponds and improves significantly the quality of water, yet without any chemicals. It makes the water clear and pure for pond sizes of up to 80.000 l without fish and up to 40.000 l including fish. In order to keep a good climate, to create a magnificent vegetation and to support the well-being of your fish, it is advisable to daily run the filter system for 24 h.

The efficient filtering procedure is done by materials such as Bio Balls, special yellow and blue sponges with varying flow speeds along with a UV-C clarifier. The integrated UV-C lamp ensures for water which is free of algue. Among the filter´s highlights, there is the additional outstanding moving bed system by the means of which this pressure pond filter is characterized in comparison to other pressure pond filters.

Operating mode
The fluidized bed process or the so-called moving bed filter method is based on the industrial sewage treatment and provides for an effective removal of toxins like the ammonium / ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. 
Inside the bioreactor, there are special supportant filter media (beads) that are kept and swirled by the current. There are various supporting bodies for the bacterial film, some of which are for example the beads or bio blocks. Evolution Aqua K1 Micro filter media for example provides for a quite large surface. A crucial criterion of the sort of filter media that are used for a bubblebed filter is the capacity of degradation which is mainly determined by the usable surface for accumulation. In this respect, the flow ratio on the supporting bodies is essential. A good flow ratio remains the condition for a sufficient supply of nutrients for the bacteria. The filter media are constantly in motion to the effect that it is only the most resistant bacteria strains that settle on the large filter areas. Any undesired bacterial films are avoided since the supporting bodies keep constantly in contact with each other thus initiating a permanent renewal. One side-effect is that by this means there is a constanct purification because there is no dirt on the filter media.

The maximum flow rate of water is 13000 l/h. Depending on the capacity of the pump that is connected, there is a delivery head of up to 3 m possible.

This pressure filter has an uncomplicated self-cleaning system.

On the one hand, this filter system has a dirt indicator, on the other hand there is a comfortable "cleaning"-function. Moreover, without opening the system, the filters can be easily squeezed by means of a crank. Nevertheless, if there is a severe contamination, the accessories can be simply removed once the lid has been opened.

Along with its high cleaning capacity, this pond filter system can be effortlessly installed, operated and maintained.

Installation note

According to the VDE-regulations, all electrical devices must be installed and comply with a minimum safety distance of at least 2 m from the water.
